I’ve been neglecting my 52 Project for a variety of reasons. Being a software developer means you often find your spare time and energy sucked away from you as your product starts hitting milestones. And I moved from Bainbridge Island back into Seattle. Nothing like putting all of your physical possessions into boxes to not only seriously question your ongoing attachment to Things.
Needless to say I haven’t been getting out to do much photography.
On the upside, I’m back in Seattle on Capitol Hill and find myself interested in getting back into music photography. One of my favorite local bars, The Unicorn had a free show a Wednesday night in May and finding myself back within walking distance decided to go out to see a local band, A Province of Thay along with Portland’s Braveyoung.
Other than shooting a metal band about a year ago at the nearby Highline (bad for you vegan food, good beer, fucking metal) I’ve been out of practice for a number of years. Need to get back into the saddle again as I forgot how much I enjoyed it.
